Dur- ing the dinner a running slideshow of dogs and people from the past en- tertained guests. The Awards rec- ognising our member’s accomplish- ments over the past year followed. This year’s winner of the Wenrick Sportsmanship Award voted on by the exhibitors and participants was Peter Ratchapol Chaykomhang. The festivities ended with a fun filled live auction to raise funds the American Shih Tzu Club Charitable Trust. Next year the National will be held in Florida during the week of April 22- 29, 2019 with the theme of ‘Flamingle’ with the hopes of continuing the atmo- sphere of festive fun and sportsman- ship that prevailed in Oklahoma.
