A festive and fun atmosphere pre- vailed over the four days of the Yosemite Kennel Club and Con- tra Costa County Kennel Club’s All Breed Dog Shows held in Vallejo, California on June 7th-10th, 2018. The shows are known affectionately as theWoofstock Cluster! For anyone who has not had the pleasure of at- tending these shows, I highly recom- mend you add them to your ‘Bucket List’ of memorable events. All the participants, exhibitors and judges were encouraged to come dressed in casual, comfortable fun outfits and many did so for all the shows while Saturday was designat- ed the ‘must’ dress up day. The club members bought into the occasion by also sporting easily identifiable bright ‘tie dye’ shirts. It was fun to meet up with old friends Kimberley Meredith and Barry Cavanna who seemed to grant every wish of the judges. Never have I been to a dog show with so many brightly colored outfits and ac- companying ‘hippie’ like accessories from wigs, bandanas and jewellery which definitely resulted in a laid back feeling and party atmosphere. For those who forgot to bring out- fits, the club had a wide selection of Woofstock emblazoned t-shirts, hoodies, vests and other memorabilia available for sale. The awesome entry of almost 10,000 dogs over the week was adjudicated in a serious fashion but my personal feelings are that camaraderie and
